Yamaha 43 mm top triple clamp
« on: October 15, 2008, 07:32:22 pm »
I am after a 43mm Yamaha top triple clamp with the upright bar clamps, I think they came with YZ's about '83/'84 and TT 600's about the same time.
Anybody???

Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

Pretty sure I've got one Brenden. I'll check tomorrow and let you know.

250,
Does the H/bar clamp sit straight up or lean back towards the rider.

Nathan,
That'd be great thanks.

And the further north you go the slower things become.  If you go north of Cairns things start to go backwards ;D

I'll have a look when I am up there next, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they are leaning back.  You never know I will have a look and let you know.  Yours for prtice of postage and a beer at CD6 if any good to you.

Looked at YZ250H.  The handle bar mounts lean backwards.  I will check IT465 next week-end

Glad you found what you are looking for  ;)
As a matter of interest what model did you end up with that had upright bar clamps

YZ250K.

The G/Hs have the swept back bar mounts to clear the extra long forks.
Don't know what the Js have (remembering that the Js have coolant passages).
The K/Ls have 'normal', shorter forks, so they get the upright bar mounts.

Not real sure about the IT-H/Js, but they've got 38mm forks anyhow.
IT-K has upright bar mounts.
