Grass Track Motocross EventVIPER has been advised by the Bendigo M.C.Club management that their ability to run the grass track event at Heathcote has been severely compromised by the current drought climate to the point where they have elected to cancel the event. Sighting severe dry conditions and 2 x dams that have no water in them as being the main contributor to this decision.
In an effort to provide VIPER members with a replacement round, the committee communicated with a range of clubs but unfortunately the same problems the have fallen upon Bendigo Motorcycle Club also plague other clubs. Compounding the issue is that most clubs are winding down for the 2008 season and the ability for clubs to garner volunteer support to run & host an event is a major factor in not being able to support a date at short notice.
Please accept our apologies for this late notice, but be assured that VIPER is 100% committed to a successful completion of the 2008 race series.
Wonthaggi (DMCC) EventVIPER have confirmed that the Wonthaggi event is 100% a goer for the 9th November. Many thanks to Marty Van DerLaan and Alan Hoon for the help in finalising this round.
Event entry forms etc will be posted to the website (
www.vipermx.com) as soon as the contact details have been finalised by the Dandenong club.
