have you tried restoring it ?
If it is OK apart from the stain try putting a litre (or so) of white king in the laundry tub with enough water to cover and fill the tank.  Soak for 24 hours and presto (probably).  Well - worth a try anyway.
Others have had success - give it a go.  Nothing to lose except a few bucks for a bottle of bleach  ;)
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

I reckon that's a 250/400D/E tank. Too fat to be 125D/E.

Definitely not 125F~J.

Edit: The 250/400 tank will fit onto a 125, but looks kinda goofy and enduro-ish.

Edit 2: Ah, just like the email posted by the seller said.  :-[

I have a YZ100G tank surplus to my requirements, they never changed from 78-81. It may fit your bike, it needs a clean up but its in reasonable shape yours for the cost of postage if you want it.

If caps does not require the tank I would be interested CG. For my Speedway sidecar as current one has split between the 3rd and 4th petrol taps. Cheers Tim

Does the 100G/H tank fit only the 100G/H ?  I have a feeling they do.  The 125 is bigger (??????)
There wasn't that many of them made was there.  I have some interest as well if you haven't already given it to either of these 2 blokes ::).

The tanks on the YZ100 E-H are all the same part number, there wasn't much of a design change until the YZ100J. If caps999 gives me the YZ125E tank dimensions to compare then all may become clear on whether or not they will fit the same.

Please by all means let the others have preference for there solos, fitting one up for speedway makes some drastic irreversible type changes. Cheers Tim

I know that the part numbers are different, being 2K5 (100G) not 2X3(125E) the 100 tank may be a smaller volume but similar fitment
