For sale – NOS Skyway air fork caps

Brand new, NOS, still in packet and in perfect condition.

They are black alloy and the Schrader valve is hidden under a plastic plug on top.

I have only carefully taken one cap out the packet to look at it and placed it back in the packet and there is still the clear wrapping in place.

The packet says it fits-

Yamaha – all gas fork models, and TT/XT 500
Suzuki -   76 RM 125, 250, 370 and all TM 250 & 400
Kawasaki -  73 and 74 250 motocrossers

Some of that info is a little vague so I have some more accurate info

They will fit the YZ 250/400 C forks with those big fork caps (commonly called speedo/tacho forks)

They will also fit IT 175, 250 C and D (I think 400 as well?) maybe fit other IT’s as well?

Also will fit

80-82 Suzuki PE 250 and 400 and 80-81 PE 175

Possibly will fit 77 PE 250 B (im not sure about handle bar clearance)

And fits the early XT/TT 500’s with out leading axle forks.
They may also fit the later 500 yamahas with leading axle forks but I think a few mm’s will need to be trimmed from the bottom of the thread on the caps and also I’m not sure about handle bar clearance above fork caps on these models.

Also may fit DR 400, DR 500 and SP 500 if some thread is removed.

May also fit some other models. ( I think early 80’s TT/XT 250)  if your seriously interested but are not quite sure then ask me with some more exchanging of  info/sizes we be able to determine if they will fit your bike.

I brought these caps off LWC but they dont fit my bike if anyone wants these you can have them for what i paid $50.00 plus $5.00 postage i did not mark them in anyway.

does that help. i had a photo of them in packet but cant find it at the moment.

anyone interested, please measure OD of cap thread, not ID of fork tube. if you measure 29.9? something these caps will still fit (if thread pitch is same) there is a tollerance.

height of thread and o-ring area is not greattly critilcle and can be a little different to the ones you are replacing and still work. check first though

if its for a 250 C YZ they should fit as i have other DG caps for this model and they are same thread. Also other various catalogues i have list the same aftermarket caps for TT/XT and YZ -C any way Mick still has them at the moment so probably best you speak with him if you want them. thanks.
