Time to sell my Maico 490.
I purchased it in 2002 because it was low hour and complete with all the original 1981 Maico components in good condition.
Because of the joint concepts of "work" and "opportunities that can't be missed", I did not use it much. Around 12 club meeting till 2012.
Michael Kirkness rode it to 2nd place in the evo class at the 2014 Classic Nationals at Toowoomba.
Correctly Dry stored since then. Started regularly.
Mechanically fresh and perfect.
Can be assembled exactly as delivered in 1981 with Maico handlebars, Akront rims, Corte Cossos, Magura throttle and vented front guard.
Or assembled as a "Modern" version of a Mega 2 with Protapers, Gasser throttle, Ohlins, SM Pro gold wheels, PVL and wide pegs.

1 more SMPro 21" front wheel, One 19" Excel front wheel, two new 2 ply trials tyres, all cables, front and rear sprockets, sundry spares and documentation.
