Husqvarna Frame Identification

Hi Guys,
I’m trying to seek the Identification of this Husqvarna Frame.
The shock mounts may have been modified but I’m uncertain of this. Or they may be factory?

There are no frame serial numbers on this frame.
It looks as though it is a early frame that has been modified to LTR suspension.

I sold a ‘72 250CR frame a while back . I can’t remember if it had an MJ or MK prefix for the stamped frame number , but it looked very similar to the frame at the start of this thread . The top shock mounts also look similar , if I remember correctly , but I will see if I can find some pictures of my old frame .

Did a quick search for Husky frames and it looks very much like this one.

It is meant to be a 1974 and all the detail around the head and engine mounts look the same but as you suspect the rear shock mounts have been altered. Laying forward or moving forward of rear shock mounts was very common in 1974/5 to compete with the Maico forward mounts. Once the RM Suzuki's turned up though it wasn't worth the effort but for a year or 2 it extended the usable life of your favorite pre-long travel MX bike. I moved the mounts on my TM125 to get a whopping 6 inch travel which helped a bit and did the same to my RT3 Yamaha for trail riding but soon pensioned them off for RM125 and PE175.
A reasonable metal worker/welder could easily put it back to original from photos so it could be used in Pre75.
