Tyres

Hey Guys,

I've done some searching and still can't find 18" or 19" front universal trials type tyres anymore.  Cheng Shen was doing them up until about last year but they've all been discontinued.  Any ideas out there as to who is still making them or who might have some sitting on the shelf?

Hi Tony!  Pretty good man, still at the bike shop, which is kinda sad considering I can't find tyres for myself.  I'll give Peter a ring, but I'm pretty sure I tried him already.  A lot of the suppliers list them in last years catalogues but they've since been axed from production.
Caps, I've tried IRC as well.  It seems most manufactures are just producing 18" rears and 21" fronts now.

have you tryed that german brand, i think its called heidenau or something?. bruce collins enterprises have them. also try Mitas tyres. the Adelaide wholesaler specialises in speedway tyres and stuff so maybe could be a help there

Just checked out IRC, they have something called the Trails TR-1.  I've gone through the importers list and they don't have it.  Same story with Vee Rubber, they make them, but not imported here.  I'll enquire about special ordering them
