Looking for any vintage Koni rear shocks. Any condition considered - rusty shafts OK. Pairs a preference but maybe singles ok.

Lengths from 12" to 13.75"

Please let me know if you have any you want to get rid of.

Hi Ian,

Just letting you know that I have a couple off milk, er I mean a couple off baskets that bear an uncanny likeness to milk crates full of old shock absorbers from back in the day. Most of them unbranded at a glance and multiple colours, some pairs and some odd ones.

How do I identify Vintage Koni shocks? The lengths you describe is Centre to Centre I assume?

Preloads are a bit different but Easiest ID is Koni cast into the top clip.

They also have markings on the shock body. Sometimes this is behind the spring and sometimes this is below the spring and adjuster. Some of the markings will be Koni - Made in Holland - Heavy Turn - and 76K or 76F followed by 4 digits like 1305. Thanks for the reply - I think i have the odd 'basket' or two full of parts too. You would think they are made for it. Unfortunately mine aren't full of Koni shocks though. Any leads appreciated.

Thanks Pokey, a photo speaks a thousand words!

Ian, we were away for the weekend and I have just checked and I have found Betor, Mazzochi, Mulloland and Koni along with a lot that I can't identify. However I have wire buffed and identified one that reads 76F  1293, can you PM me your email so I can send photos? The 'baskets' must have holes in them so the longer shocks can poke out the side?

There is a collection of bikes that have "ceased to procede" that I can check the shocks on for you in my shed. All Trials bikes of all makes and models as I am not fussy including most models of TY. Just saying to let you know that I am up for swapping if you have anything Trials related, maybe I can get one going?
