I need a shorter kick start on my DT2MX .. anyone any ideas what would fit ?

DT 250/360/400 74 75 76 77 . MX 250 /360 /400 73 74 75  Sc500 73 74 . YZ  250 /360/ 400  74 /75/ 76 /77 . DT 1 2 3  RT 1 2 3 . ( early DT and RT are not folding ) they will all fit .
Yamaha tragic ; dt1, rt1, dt2, rt2, dt2mx , rt2mx , mx250, mx360,sc500, 74dt125, yzx125, yzc250, yzc400, yzd250, yzd400, yzh250, yzh80 , dt100 , xr75 ko xr80 03 , it175 82 . Not a member of any club

Scarfed weld line cut-and-shut is an option as well.

Yes the TT and XT but I haven't tried them so I didn't put them up .

i think i'll just heat and put an s bend in the standard one.... cheers anyway for the replies..

I'm currently running an RD250 kicker on my RT1. I know you want shorted but it needs to be added to the list.
Anything Yamaha. AT1, CT1 (X3), RT1, DT3 (x3), YZ125X,  YZ250E, YZ400D, IT175E, IT250H, XR500RC . Always looking for Pre 78 Yamaha stuff....

...iain.. it hits the aftermarket pipe that i have fitted .. DT2MX in  PDV frame...i dont even know if the kickstart is correct ,i'd send you a photo but i dont know how..

I wouldn't recommend heating and bending a kick start lever as it will soften the material and will most likely bend easy.
