Plus aren't there different diameters - most 130mm but a few bigger
{ 140, 150 160 or something ?  }
and the rare twin leading shoe type

YZ wont have speedo drive like DT & IT

Ok I've measured the drum and it looks like it would take 130mm x 22mm shoes.
IT175, 250 1980/82
YZ125 76/83
YZ250 74/81
From what I can see.
I'm adapting the wheel to suit a Husky cr250 front end.

ok since its going on a husky set of forks theres a few options
dt175 monoshocks have a smaller axle compered to the it/yz's
g/h model it/yz have a much sort after twin leading shoe backing plate,like hens teeth to find and cost lots
tt600/yz/it's from k model on have twin leading shoe setup as well but mounting lug is at 3 oclock position instead of 1 oclock for the g/h models and easy to get
bigger front drum models are xt500 all models and dt250/400's and the xt's backing plate suits straight leg or leading axle forks

that would be good if I could run it in pre1978 class but i doubt I can.

DT 175 , you can still buy NOS fits most Yamaha's , You can weld the lug to the Husky fork leg or make a arm that works , I have a mod that I do to the Husky Brake that makes nearly as good as the Yamaha.
