are the early xt's still in demand? a mate has two projects and he is wondering what to do with them.. i have no details just said i would see if they were worth marketing vs restoring

The old XT500 will always be worth something as they have a cult following. What they are worth is disputable...!?
I may be interested in purchasing if he wants to sell?

Plenty of demand for them down at the docks & Station Pier. Required for the end of a chain (where they belong).

XT500s are trés desirable for hipsters! 80-85 Husky, tell your mate to start butchering those XTs, they'll soon be worth thousands as "café racers"!  8)

Your right they are worthless, Ill save the trash from being turned into another "vomit" cafe racer. I seem to like trying to throw around boat anchors in the bush  :-[
