What more do you need to know? It's all go, championship classes as per the MoMS with the finer details being organised. Book your spot on the boat.
Cheers,

Ok. What's the go with the Ararat track? Will it be left as is? Will it be modified and if so, how so?

I believe the track will be adjusted appropriately to suit the VMX classes. The early word was to bypass ( with grass chicane sections) the 3 big table top jumps for classes up to pre'75 but have pre'78 & Evolution use all jumps, I'm unsure if or how this has changed since the first track inspection. Having said that, the track is very similar to Port Pirie track which was used for the classics last year, where the whole track & all jumps were used for all classes. There were no complaints that I know of & everyone seemed to have a whole bunch of fun. VCM is planning some sort of event at the track as a prelude to the National title event, so there will be an opportunity to get first hand experience before the titles. Some people hate flat paddocks while others hate jumps, impossible to please everyone or probably anyone these days. At the end of the day we all have to ride the same track plus mother nature has the potential to turn the best laid out/prepared track to the worst in an instant. In all reality it will be your mind that defeats you long before any actual track does.

The Supp Regs and Entry Forms are up now at the MA Vic site.. I see that the first two classes are inclusive of the $150.. but if you have more than 2 bikes.. then an additional $10 per class... in addition then, the age group racing , which traditionally has been a "freebie" they are charging for.. and the age groups are all capacities in together.. pity if you have like John Kemp has .. a current title in all 3 capacities within his age group..then he can only ride one bike at a time..
Anyway.. see you guys in Sept alongside the prison.. yee hah..

140 or so photos on Facebook (Victorian Classic management) from a meeting they had at the same track as where the nats are being held, on the weekend. The weather was ordinary but everyone interested should take a look.
