I know why it is in such good condition, its because it is unused - it would have been absolutely deadly to ride in the bush, and pretty 'interesting' on the road. The samllest bump either side would have had the bike changing direction :o.

It'll be interesting to see what price it achieves.

Would an engine swap from a 250 to a 360 make that much difference with so much extra weight hanging off the side?Reckon he should sell the bike and sidecar separately.

Some of you from eastern states may be unaware but these type of outfits were extremely common and popular in the 70s in south Australia. Outfits like that are what was raced in reliability trials back then. Yes they probably handled crap, especiallywith the standard forks instead of a leading link. But that is what was the norm back then.
