There was a F/glass tank made by Jones motocross products , but you have a lot better chance of lotto than finding one . there was a Californian comp back in the 70's but long gone now . why do you want f/glass ?

OK belay my last comment Doh Dumb note to self re read the whole thread Iain . Wow yes I think the Tank is a Jones motocross products one , Utter gold that and the DT2MX muffler are worth more than the bike . It took me 7 Years to find one of those mufflers . And Bill if you say you have a Cpl in your parts bin I will scream .

Iain !!

The one I have is the only one I've ever seen until the one posted above.I was going to use it on a PDV project that I was going to use a YZ type
crossover pipe rather than the leg toaster DT1MX style pipe they came with.I had a machinist modify one of the rear down tubes for clearance but was not happy with it and kinda lost interest in it.

Just kidding Bill , Yes Kenny the DT2MX and RT2MX mufflers are the same , utter rocking horse poo in Australia . A far as the Tank goes I have never seen one in Aust , With modern fuels I would be carful with it . In fact I would place value above the Alloy YZa tank . Iain

Kenny If my memory is correct. The DT/RT2MX silencers had a plug you could knock out so they became strait through. As I recall they did run better after this but were a little louder.

Iain
I have a Jones Products Clutch Cover on one of my PDV's.
What I've been looking for is some Jones forward axle fork
lower legs for early DT or YZ's.I've heard they had Jones Products cast on them but I've never seen any.

The Holy Grail is the Jones Titanium frame 5 made only . If only we could go back in time I would never have gotten rid of so much stuff .
