The real answer is to catch the drips from the overflow tube after I have run it up.

..... and, no. It does not leak oil, neither does the original one. The only one I've had that leaked oil was the Matchless 500. They have the worlds best primary case seal ...... not

Just best quality silicone and very carefully matched cases. All courtesy of Mark and Anita at PES.
The chances of both of them running together at the moment is slim as I have pinched the Interspan box from the original. If I can afford another box, and persuade Fred to make it, then it may happen.

whats an interspan magic box worth these days?
i had to buy one for my weslake 25 years ago and remember it being very expensive then.

Finally got to race the CCM on Sunday. Bloody perfect. Started 1st kick and didn't miss a beat all day.
Got some brilliant starts thanks to the bike, results are thanks to the rider    6th - 7th - 6th
Had a huge stupid grin on my face all day.

I run R40 for all of it. I change the oils after every race meeting.
It's the only oil I have found that will stand the heat. (not wishing to start another oil debate !)

is that castrol castor oil ?
i used it in my weslake 500 speedway. it can "pit" engine internals if sitting for time.

All the castor oils are hydroscopic, R30 (The 2 stroke oil) is quite bad for it.

I have used the box from the original one. It was new about a year ago, so should be good for a while.
The only other thing I "borrowed" from the other one was the kick start. The cotter pin type CCM lever is an extinct species.
