1980 Can Am MX6 250
« on: November 23, 2017, 01:05:59 pm »
Starts easy. Runs well. New carb and ignition. Has a gear shaft oil leak that will need a seal at some point. Until then crank up that rotary valve and hold on tight yeeeewwww!! ;D

$4650 negotiable or swap for Evo or Pre-78 Suzuki or Husky

Located on south side of Brisbane. Happy to help with shipping at buyers expense.

Why you want to swap for another Evo?

Shouldn't the engine & swingarm be orange?  :-)

Swingarm is original on an MX-6
Assume its a 250 = engine is black.....
370/400 were orange
(I had a 400 Qualifier back in the 80's)

Sorry my bad yes it is a 250!  :-\

I believe the B model had the ally swing arm. Seems to be preferred. Box section, better angle of the dangle etc.

As for swapping, it's the odd one out at the moment. Trying to consolidate and make life a bit easier. Bit OCD I guess.
