Eligibility

G,day all,

I am building an 1980 RM Suzuki for EVO class, unfortunately i can not find a rear wheel that i require.

The 1981-1984 RM's rear wheel is plentiful ( still drum brake ), if fitted to my bike does this make it automatically ineligible,
or are the allowances made for interchange of scarce parts?.

Thanks Mark

Go ahead & fit the wheel, no problems as far as eligibility goes for EVO class. It's all in the rule book (MoMS).

Plenty of people think its pre1980
Never has been, you could run a 2000 model dt200

drum brakes, air cooled , nonlinkage suspension= simple.
I liked the 400 n suzuki in the day.

You can't run a 2000 model DT200 in EVO, however the RM wheel in question is fine.
