RM 400 C Rear Hub
« on: July 05, 2017, 02:43:03 pm »
I am asking this question on behalf of a friend who has an RM 400 C that has one sprocket lug broken of the rear hub.

1. Can the hub be welded, apparently they are magnesium?
2. What other hubs can be used in place of the standard one?
3. Where is the best place to find a suitable hub?

Unless its the rare optional magnesium hub it will most likely be aluminium. If its magnesium it will say it on there  around the edge where the sprocket taps are, and it will have a textured kind of finish. It will be obvious. Aluminium can be easily welded. I would try to find another hub first.

the same hub can be found on

RM250B
RM250C
RM250C2
RM370B
PE250B
PE250C
PE250N

Ebay usually has some
