All my pics on here were held to ransom by Photobucket.
I wonder what the criteria is, as only some of us have suffered the new conditions (no third party hosting, without the over the top annual fee.)

The pics l see blocked on ebay are not mine, l don't have pics on ebay at the moment. Trying to remember back, l don't think l needed to use PB to put pics on ebay? l don't need to use photo holding website to put pics on Vitalmx website.

Vital host their own pics. Hopefully this is the way of the future.

some sites do but they end up paying for "space" on the users server which is why 3rd party hosting came about. most small forums don't have a membership and rely on "keen enthusiasts" to chuck a few bucks in every year as donations to cover the costs of holding a space on a server. adding Gigs of pics requires $$ as photobucket has just said....if someone else is using it

I pay 10 pounds a year to be able to direct post on Trialscentral, really is a minimal fee & I'm more than happy to help contribute to the cost of keeping the site running
If you don't want to pay the fee then a remote host is required same as here

I lost many photo's linked to a number of forums making some of the threads nonsensical - not happy. I am using Imgur now and will see how that pans out.
Free, easy to use, hosts you photos and has other entertaining features -

Received an email from the thieves saying I'm okay until my current plan expires in November, guess that gives me time to save all my photos before deleting the account.
I really hope their sudden loss of a lot of business makes them rethink things before then

You'll get a email soon saying that your account saying that your account is grandfathered until the end of your current subscription when to get what costs $39 you need to upgrade to the plus500 plan which is the megabucks plan
I'll see if I can save the email elsewhere & link to it as a test
