I would Like to Inform you as from 9.30 pm We have Hit the Putty Vinduro Limit ...
anyone who enters Now will go on a stand by List ....
It is Most Important that if you can Not make it to Putty you MUST let VTR know ....
ASAP if you don't VTR will be Very disappointed that someone missed out on a Ride ....

This was Mailed out to the member only with well over 200 member and only 80 spots ...VTR knew that it would fill very fast ...

Putty putty road is the Only Vinduro that VTR runs with a limit due to size on land and to protect the Land ...

The Next Vinduro after Putty Putty Road is Bulahdelah on the  19th and 20th of August  if you don't want to miss out on this

     Obviously none of the riders in the photos / video had a good time  or maybe they do not frequent this site ? 
 
 Anyhow ;   Riders circulated a 10k loop.  comprised of single trail , some fast flowing  sections , technical bits , a couple of  little hill climbs & a slippery  bog section ... .....something for everyone  .
  A good range of machinery getting around .  The usual XR / IT  / PE / KDX models plus  a couple of nice looking Montesas  , an immaculate  & great sounding TT500  , a few KTMs  and an Ossa  plus , of course  , plenty of examples of fine Husqvarna bikes   
  Did see a few cameras about   ...... Be good to see a few more pics

Why is it I come away from every vtr rally thinking "Best Yet"? And putty putty valley putt putt was no exception. Already a great little tight course, with a few 'extras' this years track additions just made 'great' 'greater'. While only 10 km in length it is quite tiring once you build up a few laps as there only occasional short 'rest' sections and if you choose "the hill" optional section then there is the bonus adrenalin to burn.
While not smooth, it isnt rough and rocky (except about 200 mtr up the hill climb) so even old raty bikes like my DT 175 twin shocker can cope for a few laps before pummeling the rider into submission.
The putty camp site is my favourite, it is flat and grassy with an open north aspect but protected  250 degs by bush and a low rise with the communal fire, toilets, showers and out door theatre tucked right in against the bush behind.
