I have seen a bloke nailed by the coppers and gone for DUI crossing a road in a wheelchair some years ago. Those ebikes look like WAAAY too much fun, all the nanna state government departments and busybody self-interest groups will be queueing up to legislate against them.
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....

I have a mate who was way too pissed to walk and wanted to get to another mates place, so he pinched his mum's mobility scooter.

Reckoned it was great and people stopped for him and felt sorry for him, let him cross and pass them etc.

he had only ran out of beer but couldn't stand up.
