Timing will play a part in starting, have you double checked it for an error in the marking etc.
Do they have to be timed differently to the norm because of advance factors?

I've spent a lot of time checking rechecking again and again that it was 1.2 mm BTDC. This is the digital unit.PVL instructs to set the timing 1-1.1.2mm BTDC.
I was going crazy because I didn't see the other mark on the rotar at first and was setting the timing 180 degrees out. I felt so stupid when I realized my mistake. I thought for sure once I found my error that things were going to go smooth from there.
There isn't anything hard about itI and I'm still missing something
