Pursang Mk6,the torque arm is the giveaway. You are right that it could be a 125 because of the round cylinder.  Bultacos didn't really have years, just model numbers that sort of translated to years.
The engine and frame number tell exactly what it is.Because most of the engines fit in any frame people used to change engines to what was lying around.

I was thinking MK7 because of the aluminium front brake hub

I think it's a mix and match , late type Mk VI / VII  front wheel earlier flanged rear wheel and earlier motor in probably a Mk V /VI  frame.
If you let us know the frame and motor # we can hit the nail on the head!

Glass is mk7 pursang. As said, brake arm is mk5. Could be a mk5 swing arm on mk7 frame but more likely mk5 too. Engine looks to be mk5 125. Seat definitely looks more mk5 than mk6/7.
Numbers??

Haven't seen any detail on the engine & frame numbers, was trying to make sure it was pre75 to try & klx777 into the class with me.
Bike showed up on the vmx.co.nz facebook page for sale for $1500nz which I reckon would be a pretty good buy to get into the class & increase the number different brands being used, very rare to see a spanish bike being raced over here

The front wheel is from a Mk9-10 onwards-it has the four screws at the rim lock.
All parts are readily available from Bultaco parts Aus,Hughs Bultaco in the US or Inmotion in the UK.
EBay also has heaps of sellers.
Frame & Engine numbers still required to confirm what it is.

Pursang Cro-Mo Frames had a head stem tube that was expanded, for the bearings.

A Mk5 or 6 has the straight one, as pictured.

Cheers, Daryl.
