PE250B seat brackets
« on: November 04, 2016, 08:53:07 pm »
Is there any chance some one can post a photo of the brackets on a PE250B seat please?

I have a seat base but need to make some brackets. I have a later model seat that doesn't fit but I may be able to use the brackets

Thanks for any help

Brent

Thanks Frosty,

Could you also get a piccie of the seat rails to the back of the frame? Mine rises up from where the top shock mount brace meets the seat rail.
Not sure it this is right or it's been bent at some stage. The rear guard seems to sit a bit high

Both my 250b frames the rails are fairly straight so yours may be bent but as you can see my two look like they might have had abuse too google images they all look pretty straight.

My 250b seat has been modded the brackets lengthened had a  too they must have had a aftermarket tank here's a seat original so one side should have a hook and one side a hole I have a 175n plastic base on one with modded brackets

I have another 250b frame I forgot to check too

heres a 250b seat all orig

Thanks Frosty,

I'll weld up the frame and straighten the rails. I have an aftermarket plastic seat base so I'll make some brackets to suit.

At least now I know how the frame should be

Cheers
