was that the same site that the supercross track was on early 80's or different?

No Hoony, completely different track although in the same area. Can't remember exactly where Deep Creek was now but I think it may have been in the same valley as this place.
One thing I'm sure of though, both these tracks had the same horrible black soil filled with volcanic rock.
If I had of been repairing pipes back then at these tracks I would be retired now
