I've heard a lot of the blokes out there been reshaping the cylinder head on the 2 stroke bikes...and it apparently increases the top end performance..is this really work???

It helps heaps with detonation & jetting problems which could lead to more top end

sometimes the detonation is vibration in the carb leaning the mix. a pilot jet extended tube has been known to help as well.
