Very nice KL250 in 78 RM125 frame for sale on Evilbay.......................Typical........I have a '78 KL250 motor in the shed and I just gave a '78 RM roller away to Quicky...........looks like a straight forward swap too !!

Yeah I noticed it too.I would have thought the 250 engine was too tall, but there you go.There is also a PE roller with a Yamaha mono rear end on ebay also.I could see your 250 engine in that but what would you call it?Wonder what the reserve is on the thumper?

isn't it a shame Kawasaki didn't pick up on bikes like that and put the KL motor into a nice handling MX chassis with alloy swingarm and great handling , they could have called it , ooooh say - KLX250 !!
seems like a lot of shaggin around when KLX's are still reasonably easy to find

Yeah, but buying over the counter takes all the fun out of it !!!.........especially when you've already got this and that in the shed and all you have to do is work out how to put them together !

Awesome power..... of the KL250 would rip the RM frame apart  :D   In my opinion the KLX250  was certainly one of the most wasted  good handling frames in dirt bike history. ;)

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

That's a nice little KL/RM hybrid but I bet he's selling it because he's sick of coming last. That would have been a far better conversion using an XL Honda engine. Still, personal expression is the spice of life and who am I to judge after building a 250 Ducati MXer.

Starts well, runs nice, back shocks a bit saggy. Its a real nice looking conversion.Pipe looks to be a custom straight to a muffler.Runs on avgas. Is the bottom end/gearbox on these engines basically a Z250 cause that what it looks like from the outside?Firko,I dont know about coming last cause the guy who bought it hates that!
