Me, a new $3000 alloy tank, and "Murphy"  :o

The first ride would be terrifying.  ;) (It would probably fall over in the trailer on the way to the first ride)

And, from my experience, have a very different idea to me of what "fully restored and ready to race" means. :o

I know of someone looking for such a tank.  i assume it is best quality.  Where else do you guys suggest he go to get a similar tank for less?

I've been unable to contact KLP racing by email..... I guess I'll try the "time zone Skype call". (I'm interested in a swingarm.)

PS "I assume it's top quality" I wouldn't assume it holds liquid personally. I have no knowledge of this product, it may be top quality but, again personally, I'd want to see it before I bought it.

We've built one, doing another now. Not $2,700 worth of work there though. There's probably 3 hours tops plus materials in prep & paint for a nice, new, straight tank so @$600 for painting, he's on a good hourly rate.

I bought an RC replica tank for my 80 CR250 from Holly Equip - bit expensive at $1200US - but on the shelf and excellent quality - would buy again and it painted up well also (thanks Rod).  Came with new tank mounts and spigot fittings.  Much better than the standard plastic one.
Will not be as cheap as Big Ks though and I have seen photos of some of his work - mmmmm!
