Great week-end  with plenty of moisture in the ground and no real dust. The weather was absolutely fantastic for riding.

The existing section is real good , but the new section on the adjoining property was fantastic with a real fast downhill section that eventually dropped into a little bog section then joined onto a great section of ruts.

Thanks to the wild bunch for the couple of fast laps late on Saturday afternoon. "Brett sure can punt his mighty XR 350 around".

Good week end and thanks to group that set the course . Rumour has it that another adjoining neighbour has a super large parcel of land that will be available for use next year.

Another fun weekend  playing around on the old dirt bikes  :)

A  bit of a look at parts of  this years' course , following my good mate Harry "High pants " .

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mv7BC9HXGJ4

More video to put up in the coming week  ; following   other  riders  around   &  a look at   some  riders navigating their way through  the  mud / rut  / slippery   sections too  :)

 Regards ,
                Steve

What can you say a about a VTR weekend - the dirt bike weekend that has everything.

- Awesome Venue, thanks Landowners.

- Fantastic Loop, thanks Steve & Co. (usual VTR quality loop catering for all levels of rider)

- Lots of great laps of the loop shared with some talented riders & VTR mates Ross,Steve,Shoey,Dave just to name a couple!

- Great Atmosphere - the VTR family knows how to have a fat time on & off the trail (witness the raffle!the prizes are great thanks sponsors, but the laughs are simply therapeutic).

Dennis's new shower block is simply outstanding after a day of testing your self on the great loop - thanks to the Mudgee Mob for helping out at the end of the weekend with the shut down procedure, its great to see people recognizing that a little help goes a long way this goes for everyone getting involved in making these weekends possible.

And a special mention to Marjolaine who managed a great personal achievement in nailing the big hill on her mighty XR200.

Anyway to finish I'd like to quote something KDX Brian once said to a bunch of us "I live for these Weekends Man!".

Cheers Brett & Marjolaine.

Lucky the food didn't run out, none of those huskies looked good eating - all too tough!

I've started a separate thread in vinduro sub-forum with about 150 (out of about 700) pics I took over the weekend mostly out on the tracks.
The link takes you to my photo bucket and I'd appreciate any comment on whether this works OK as it it looks clumsy to me when I view as a guest (on my phome). Oh here is a sample, I think this bike should be mine as it 1/ looks sexy and 2/ it already has my VTR club member number.

I had a look at the photos and the photo bucket link is very good and not clunky.  Nice photos.

Thanks , it is one of my favourite rides , it is a particularly good bike with a fantastic motor and it performs very well . Lots of people say they should own it.
