I think some of those blokes live just up the road from me ........... Well were going to give the driveway a bit of a tidy up tomorrow and then full tanks of fuel and away we go . Got to say I think this loop will be awesome another shower to damp the top again and you should be able to really hook in . Did a lap on Saturday morning with property owner and his sun and boy didn't want to stop it was that good....

Bikes are packed ready to go. Also will have a few of my left over XR/XL bits on board for sale and on the way up am picking up a new project bike -  IT250H. So happy days ahead  . hopefully the weather Gods smile on us like they did at Nimmitabel last year but if it's wet then at least I will have the DT400 tractor on hand for the task.

Word from Greg earlier this arvo:

No rain on the loop today, despite some in town.
The loop can absorb another 75mm of rain without turning to poop.
Road in is a bit greasy but not too bad.
Event will run regardless.

We are also very lucky to have land owners like Peter.  Without them, we wouldn't get to enjoy our passion.

How good despite the weather cutting it a bit short - or maybe the bonus thrill of the weather?
And how much fun was the raffle!
PS I loved the quick shade over the shower - plenty of hanging space and it seemed to hold the warmth from the steaming water.

Once again thanks heaps to everyone involved in putting on another great VTR event. Although the weather was not in our favor the loop held up very well and made for a fantastic days riding and the overcast conditions meant temperatures were a lot warmer than I expected so that was a real bonus. As well as getting in quite a few laps, this time I also managed to stop and take some pics and video while out on the loop 
So here's some pics to start with and more to come.
For my first lap out I took the old DT400 and did the full hard loop and all was going really well right up until the last section through the creek where I got caught up on a greasy root.
