2 stroke KLX250??

I have a 79 kx250 engine that I was going to get to my klx frame as a evo bike, although I have no idea how easy a fit it is. Did you want to buy it all

79/80 KDX 250/400 are twinshock. Last year sometime some one on here was putting a KDX200 or 175 motor into a KLX chassis, or at least they were contemplating it. Try a search through the Kawasaki threads to find it mentioned.

I do remember you posting that bishboy, I have contemplated it. Just not quite ready for another project yet. Just getting some ideas, im trying to sell my KLX at the moment but if I cant get a resonable price im better of keeping it.

Ah ha that's who it was . That looks like its turning oit good so far. So are you going to keep it called a KLX or have KDX on the seat?
