I have half a basket case 1974 or 1973 Husky 400. Just wandering what is the difference between a WR and CR? And is the petrol tank colour red or maroon?

Obviously the gearbox, WR (wide ratio) as against CR (close ratio), pipe, ignition, suspension etc. WR's can make decent mx bikes but not so much the other way IMO. The tank colour for 400 is maroon.

Compared to a CR400, the WR box has a lower first gear and a higher 6th, still suitable for mx use.
