Ossa SDR basket case
« on: April 11, 2016, 10:36:58 AM »
Some days in your life turn into diamonds.  During the week a gentleman rang me and offered me an Ossa Pioneer basket case for free.  I thought why not, almost finished the Rickman Zundapp, no spare cash to buy anything, might at least have a look.  My bottom jaw almost hit the floor when I got this

decals

exhaust and other bits

air cleaner, bash plate, wiring lights

motor complete was running

new seat, tank badges

frame powder coated and wheels, forks all done

all the fibreglass needs painting etc

chromed parts and rear brake

1974 Husqvarna MAG CR250

Pardon my ignorance
But are these good things?
I have one in my shed and I know little about them?
So any information or opinions would be appreciated.
Cheers
james

That's a great score. Can't beat the price. When I was a young kid my dad had a SDR. He owned it from 1975-1980. Then he moved on to his first four stroke, a XR250. I'll always have a soft spot for that bike. Good luck with the rebuild.
