It all paid off having a BIG FAT Christmas break.Everyman and his son where at this Classic MXWA event.
The morning started with a track prepped well and a nice 5 plus ml in the rain gauge. Camp site have never seen it so full.
With 40 odd pre95 bikes, Full Vets class, 8 odd kids and the Pathfinder Trials club along with riders from Cranbrook MCC it was bound to be a wicked start to the year..
Some really nice bikes coming out now, not unlike a mini Conondale
Riders Brief & general info meeting...Calender for 2016 is full and now over flowing with invites to other events. Willie Thompson Enduro series, anyone up for a team of four .Contact Pres Richard Hall also Willie is after a grid of 20+ if we can fulfil ~Manjimup 15000.Richards number is on website.
It was suggested by Simon for the come n try/practise day flag roster, that the riders gathered into groups for the five flag points. A few shuffled around and eventually got into the groups. It worked !! the responsibility was put back on the riders and the 5 teams worked well and covered the flag points for the day. Working together as a team makes life easy.
The track held and formed up well, with a couple of comments " ïts on the slik side" Riders soon got the hang of it and went the whole 4 rds.
Great racing had and to watch.
