Just as the track looked like it was showing some signs of just coming good, the rain clouds made their mark. So much to the disappointment of some & the delight of others, a vote was taken at the end of the lunchbreak, & the vote was put forward, who wanted to continue racing & who wanted to go home & the majority won, so the meeting was abandoned. 19 of the 38 races were completed, apologies to the few Evo 45's +, which werent aware that they had combined the Evo 35-39 with the Evo 40-44yrs, hence a few didnt make it to the startline. The track proved a challenge in some places, especially out the front of the canteen, which claimed a few victims, not to mention YZ Hilly, (hope your chief photographer got a happy snap of that for the album ) but my vote goes to Tania Yeomanson, No 99. It was a struggle getting up, then down & back up again, but she still came back smiling. And as for Hoonies Honda, I hope the rebuild isnt to expensive. Father Noel, we hope you are OK also after a nasty crash. Winners on the day, Alan Riha, Darren Schenk (Jnrs) Grant Hoghton, Simon Healy, Angus McIntosh (Open all powers), Arno Frank, One of the Whittle Boys (even after they destroyed a couple of dad bikes), Heath McDonald, Darren McMullen, Arno Frank & Grant Dodd.
