We are looking to put together a TV, FB & YouTube commercial for Classic Dirt.  We are after good quality footage of not just the riding but also the bikes and the social side of the event.  If you have or know someone who has some CD footage, Please let me know. Thanks

 You can now enter online for CD12 at www.nominate.com.au then go to Entries and Sunshine Coast MCC Classic Dirt 12. Rider entry is simplified this year, it is just a flat $110 and that includes the lot - riding permit for both Saturday and Sunday, entry to the event for the three days and camping. If you need a One Event Licence then that will be extra but it can all be done on the Nominate site. You can enter non-riders while you're doing your rider entry as well and the price for spectator entry has also been simplified, a flat $20, for one day or three, and, camping is again included. Broc Glover for Classic Dirt 12!!

Six-time AMA National Motocross Champ Broc Glover has been confirmed by Yamaha Australia as a definite starter at Classic Dirt 12. What an absolute legend to have at the event, he's the winningest Yamaha rider in US Motocross history. As well, Broc is a really down to earth guy and he will love having a chat to all his Aussie fans at Classic Dirt. He's still damn fast on a dirt bike and will be out on the track on Saturday for the Legends Laps session. Stay tuned, there may be even more exciting news in days to come.

Heikki Mikkola for Classic Dirt 12!!

You read that correctly, as well as Broc Glover, Yamaha Australia is bringing Heikki Mikkola out from Finland for Classic Dirt, to help celebrate Yamaha's 60th anniversary. Heikki, known as the 'Flyin' Finn', won four World Motocross Championships, two of them being with Yamaha, in 1977 and 1978. They were both in the 500cc class and indeed, Heikki gave Yamaha their very first 500cc World Motocross Championship. He had won two World Championships previously, with Husqvarna, in 1974 and 1976 and was the first rider to win World Motocross Championships in both the 250cc and 500cc classes.

Heikki is a motocross superstar, right up there with the likes of DeCoster and Robert, and it will be just sensational to have him with us at Classic Dirt 12. With Mikkola and Broc Glover, this is going to be one hell of an event! A huge thanks to Yamaha Australia for making this possible.
