Hi everyone,
my newest project is a '79 RM400.
Its a diamond in the rough and needs a total rebuild.
As such, i'm chasing the following bits and pieces:
-Carb
-Exhaust silencer/muffler
-Fuel Tank (as unfaded as possible and without cracks)
-Front Wheel (true rim that's uncracked with hub attached and all spokes in place)
-A complete bottom end would be ideal..-the gearbox has gone to god and ideally, i'd like to just attach my good top end to a fully functional bottom end (i have could be dreaming...and as i have a good clutch and magneto it doesn't have to be 100% complete but that would be ideal)
-Rear brake parts..from the pedal all the way to the hub. I have a good hub, but need a pedal and the rod that attaches it to the drum (ideally with the spring).
Please let me know what you have.
I'm hoping someone on here has a few bits they're keen to off-load to get this old girl up and running again!
