mag cases replaced by aluminium by then. good forks on that model, last of the swedes, smooth engine. nice bike.
issues mainly arose from loose swingarm bushes which in turn could elongate the bushes in the rear of the cases. plent of fixes available.

Get on to café husky, vintage left kickers and have a browse, lots of guys still ride them in the us, lots of info on them.

parts are nearly all available from Husqvarnaparts .com or HVA Factory .com as well as many others. given general maintenance and it didn't need to be too good, they survive well as the factory used quality parts. all bearings are SKF and pretty much std.

pretty sweet bike

I had one new in 88
Sad to say it was the worst Husky I have owned.
Front brake was poor and the disk broke. The crank was made under size causing the bike to vibrate and fall apart. Crank case seals leaked even when new ones fitted. Rear wheel shattered.

Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle
