Typo.  Even Greyhound Bus shipping would be $50-$75 USD.

Stranger things have happened. I got an R6 rear wheel complete with sprocket, disc and tyre for $55US from Ohio to Wollongong.

does say in the listing wording that 'Buyer must pick up from the shop or make arrangements'. The old story--if it sounds too good to be true then it 'usually is'.--same freight price for down here to in nz.

If the freight/postage is true, don't panic, Ebay will promptly find another way to bleed more money out of you to make it up. ;)
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Obviously Not using Ebay Global Shipping.

6 freekin weeks from the US for a pair of bearing retainers.
They left California  to Tennessee (yes thats the wrong way)then they thought the retainers would like to see Kentucky for a few days before going back to California to say good bye to mum and dad. The retainers had a short stay in Hawaii and i do hope they sent post cards back home as they sure had enough time. then they winged in to Sydney airport. Our customs guys must have used them as training tools for a fortnight before they headed to Brisbane( i still cant find where the drugs would be hiding in them) and another three days to get to the sunshine coast..

And this was the Priority service that cost me over $60. i did feel better after firing off a poison pen letter to Ebay which was even more fun trying to find an address for them. I now add a small note to every item I buy, "For positive feedback do not use ebay global shipping system. Please contact me if alternative freight cannot be arranged"

If the seller wont use a different freight system then I dont buy from them Geoff. simple as that.
If they dont advise me and use the GSP then stiff. they have ignored the person with the wallet after being alerted to an issue and get what they deserve. If i keep the part they get neutral/poor feedback. if I dont need it, I use the power of ebay and paypal and return the item as soon as im aware of the sellers actions. If the seller is out of pocket for being ignorant they need to own the problem.

Its no secret that ebays GSP is anything but accurate or cost effective and ebay dont appear to have changed a thing since its inception. The more people who protest the GSP the better the system will be for buyers and sellers. Who knows, just maybe Ebay could return to having a decent reputation for online sales.
