Modern Shock
« on: December 18, 2015, 10:05:42 am »

I had the shock rebuilt on my 83 KX125 when I built my bike. It has 4 damping adjustments. And it's on the 4th. No compression or Hi Speed compression. Figuring I'm going to keep my bike for a long time,I got a Noleen shock. Clark Jones built me a factory looking unit that's a modern shock to fit an old bike. It's a bargain too. It's hundreds of dollars less than a Race Tech ,Works Performance or Ohlins. YSS in the US was the biggest joke ever.I see they are used in Australia and the UK but non existent in the US. Now I see why.
They passed me through on the phone 5 different  people until they said they would get back to me but never did.

I didn't choose Noleen for the great price.. I bought it for the support of someone I could easily speak to if I needed help setting things up. And Clark has been a phone call away. At this point I couldn't be happier. It's made really cleanlyand feels super light.
Noleen makes trick twin shocks at a great price too.
I can't wait to try it

"They're not really giving them away, when they're close to $1300 landed in Aussie." ;)

Seems to be a pretty good price for a high quality, customized shock. (If that's what they are.)
Especially delivered "down under" with the $outh Pacific Peso only worth US$.70  :'(

12 more months and then that unfair  loophole will be closed . The exchange rate is getting better again too .

Two wrongs do not make right. Should drop the tax on local products.

While Spotless as a company pay less tax than a cleaner, mining companies pay no tax in Australia and some individuals pay $2 million a year on 'managing tax affairs' when they could pay $1.5 million in tax.
