For Tim, & other tripods
My only sidecar shot, Lake Madera 85
Note the left & right handed beasts running together.
The ambulance at the back almost looks like it's following them waiting for on 'off'  ;D

Shouldn't that be the other way round?
'If I'm going on a sidecar, I'm going to hell' ?  :D :D

Another fine shot from the GMC archives too. Was that with the rattly old Pentax, Geoff?

And I think you're right about road race outfits, Tim. Only sidecar I've ever been in was one of those. Nearly flew straight over the front and the first serious braking. Those things can stop!
I was ok, but my jocks were fatally injured...............  :-\

Tony now you see why I love 1000cc speedway sidecars..... remember they must NOT be fitted with any brakes.... :D
I already have a Tshirt with that sort of spiel on it. It reads "if I am going to hell* I am going on a Honda 50 stepthru!"  ;)  *I reckon the old red hot pokers up the a*** for eternity, are most definitely on the cards for me  ::) see ya's all there and save me a rack :D
