84 roller
« on: July 31, 2008, 01:45:52 pm »
here is my 84 roller which I brought from Ims6201 as a super project

this has been on going since last christmas. I brought a engine (as it didnt have one) from the US ebay and it still hasnt arrived.
A mate was importing it for me through a friend of a friend deal. My fear is that it will never arrive so I may need to start searching for a complete bottom end and electrics (got a top end).
I should know within a month or so if Im up the creek without an engine.
so if any one has bits they dont want I may need them.
I will be at ACT Heaven round 6 in 2 weeks hope to shead some light on my situation then

keep you posted

This is sitting at penrif MC wreckers for $1800, looks to be very original and all there, and it runs fine too.

They wanted to know how I seen the photo's do you know the blokes there?

Attached is shot of the 2 I have now that we race in Queensland will be restoring this one to add to collection as the 84 is our favourite bike to ride.

I was scunging around Penrith wreckers looking for a 32 hole YZ rim and stumbled across her, was real tempted at $1800 but I just bought an absolute mint one off Big K, I had my new iphone on me so I photographed it and posted it on the forum straight from my phone... :o

I have to say, that the 84 CR250 with black rims is the finest looking pre 85 motocross bike. I had mine stolen 12 years ago and would love it back now!
