I think it's on from 7 pm till 10 pm. Lots of people in the Melbourne inner city bike shops today.
Bultaco Metralla, Matador MK 5, Montadero mk2, El Bandido model 18,plus lots of bits and two Honda XR's 250,350.

What a great spectacle, I didn't attend but watched it on TV. Got to feel and hope alright for the aussie rider Doyle he was smashed up pretty bad.
Once they got over telling us how good the track was every 2 mins it was an interesting commentary.

Hopefully they have it again next year.

Hi Harko we went to Watch it on Saturday night We all said the noisy back ground Music was too loud and spoilt
the evening as the track side commentary was drownd out .
Did you get any off that on the Foxter telecast.

Stig, there seemed to be a droning trumpet of some sort constantly blasting out. Didn't get the music on Fox.

Good to hear on again, will definately go.

Coverage was great , down in the pits , interviews, even got a couple of replays of the smackon.

We were in a trumpet free zone, but they were still bloody annoying. What a great night though, and 99% of the crowd stayed for the presentation and fireworks instead of bolting out like they do at the football. I agree about the music, it was too loud and was still on initially for each rider interview. Aside from that it was awesome and young Jason Doyle was on a mission in the final, although Greg Hancock rode faultlessly all night.

Like most, EA and I found the trumpets annoying, as well as the overly loud music BUT what a stunning weekend as a whole, caught up with Mark, Slider 29, after 30 or so years, that was a blast plus a bit emotional !!, as well as heaps of the Dirt Track mob. Some good racing and I came away impressed with Sam Master's style, racing as well as fisticuffs. :) will do it again next year, if we can.

Brilliant night, worth every cent.  But next year they have schedules Sat 22nd October the night before the MotoGP.  Wonder if that is a good idea
