Just thought I would get this up and running again. Dirt Track Spectacular. Hmmmm .Can't ask for much
more than that. All we have to do is support it!!! Chris Watson is in. Chris Kelly is in. Rick Wason is in.
Jody Mason is in. Ray Stevens is in. Adam Bond is in. AND many others. I can't say who yet ,...but there will
be quite a few  past Aussie champions from the '70's and '80's riding. I can hear the howl of a twin/2 stroke
in a slider. Ya wanna see it? or hear it? Come to Broadford 2016.

Here comes the Bonanza. Can't wait! K.D. on the 1975 title winning Godden Weslake. A
heap of past champions attending the dirt track spectacular and a great crew of boys from up North.
This will be a blast from the past with SLIDERS galore. Come along and relive the Golden Era of
Short Circuit/Dirt track.

For anyone that hasn't been this is a fantastic event for both spectators and riders who like older bikes of ALL types. I went for the first time back in 2013 and have been hooked ever since. That year I rode my old 83' XJ900R down to the event loaded with camping gear on the Friday then ran it on the road race circuit on Saturday till my clutch started to slip, watched some of the VMX on Sunday and then rode home. The next year I took the XJ (with a rebuilt clutch) and the Husky 510 and did the road circuit, Vinduro loop and the MX track. Last year I took the XJ the 510 and the DT400 and tried out the grass track as well as the vinduro/road and MX tracks and this year I plan on taking the XJ, CR and the old XL500s  which I plan to run on the flat track as well

As this year's Bonanza is highlighting Short Circuit bikes and riders of the 70's and 80's, it only seems right that I come and represent the Chook Chasers' bikes and riders...........can't let the sliders have it ALL their own way.....LOL !!!

Mia and I are off to Albury tomorrow and be down at Broadford on Friday morning, hopefully for a good spot.........My SC500 is honking, so I hope I can keep the Sliders honest.......LOL  !!!
