Yes!
The women's team had a 39 minute lead, last I heard.
I genuinely laughed out loud when I saw that - that's not just a lead, that's destroying the competition.

Hope it all hangs together.

I think it is over 50 minutes now and they are 1st, 2nd and 3rd outright!

The FIM make me sad about their decision regarding France  :-(  At the time (day 3), when they were disqualified, and then later reinstated, they should have had a time penalty before their decision decided a title.

The Trophy team stuff is an abomination.
The actions of the Aussie team could sound petulant, but they have my support. Like lots of people have said, there's two main rules to enduro riding:
1. Stay on the course;
2. Stay on time.
When more than half your team can't manage Rule 1, you don't deserve to be anywhere on the podium.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Spot on Nathan. I think there is some sort of inquiry or protest or something being heard? I guess we know we won but it would have been so good to have an official clean sweep. The girls did brilliantly!

Still waiting to hear the outcome of the final review (unless I've missed something). On the face of it it would seem a fairly cut and dried case - staying on the course would be a pre-requisite you'd think. If not disqualified, the 8 riders should at least be heavily penalised and overall results modified accordingly.

David Knight (UK) was one of the 8 caught up in the mess, and claims that the course was poorly marked, and by the time the error was realised it was unsafe to travel back along the tight single trail and risk a head on collision. He also reckons no advantage was gained in terms of distance covered. Obviously he was crying foul when he was disqualified.

The American rider took it on the chin apparently.

Only two days? Actually makes it a negative if you have to travel to the opposite side of the world.

Still, I hope it succeeds.
