« on: August 25, 2007, 11:44:47 pm »
Here is one we all have or will have many times. The old "Got an motabike scramble thingy behind the shed/under the house/ buried in chook/pig shit etc" line your get in pubs ,club, footy ,embroidery afternoons where ever... Sons are on to one tonight to follow up tomorrow arvo. Only ten houses away from their house, Bloke says he has got a (Hmm) one of those Spanish CZ thingos (his words)not really sure what it is . Ahh but sons asked a few questions, like does it have any markings?, answer ,thinks it says "osso" on da mota! what colour is it?  Da (Burrrrp)mota is black and its sorta dark blue with some red sorta stripes on da tank....... ::) anyway you lads can have it its just shit laying around for me ta fall over went I gotta piss or spew .
Hey its is well priced whatever it is ;)

A few months back I was at the local recycling center dropping off some unusable cycle parts in the scrap metal bin when a gentleman enquires about the parts.  I told him there are from some old vintage motorcycles I have.  He says, "I have an old bike leaning on the side of my house, it belongs to a friend who never came to pick it up".  He says, "I think it's an old German dirt bike." (Maico?) He gives me his friends phone number, so I can ask if he wants it anymore.  I write the number on a junk mail envelope I have in the truck.  The next day my wife cleans out the truck and throws away the envelope.  I have gone by the recycling center almost every weekend since and haven't seem he again.

Well the tank was indeed blue with a stripe, all painted in shit paint over a yellow tank CZ, The "osso" bit was a very sad bottom end beside it, Don't know to laugh or cry! I will just smile till I see the CZ and work out what model it is, from phone description it mostly seems to me to be like an early 175 Traily but it has a downswept exhaust? Eno or Drakey I may be after some info soon. Cheers Tim  :)               Of course I will smile it was all free. ;)
