This is the same Aldi that sells Baked Beans? I only get to Coles and Woolies so I just can't imagine what bike gear they sell. Any clues?

Just signed up to their newsletter, have been told by other guys that the seems to have a bit of bike related stuff now and then.
Yet to check out quality.
Anyone know what price vs quality is like?

I have one of the leather jackets for road riding & reckon it's as good as any from a bike shop but cheaper,Wifey has a helmet from them, It's better & cheaper than my bike shop one  ;)

Your not wrong there Mick.
One thing I have never scrimped on is any sort of socks.
I have a draw full of top name brand MX ones.

The long under the knee guard Aldi MX socks win out by a country mile.

Have their mx helmet, bike stands, ski gear, dishwasher and shitloads of other all really really good. I'm keen to get one of those full face helmets they look good, great for Victoria where coppers have been booking riders for dark visors

I bought a matching set of their waterproof/windproof road riding jacket and pants.  Snug as a bug in a rug with it on.  Lotsa pockets, zippers, adjustability, high vis strips. For less than $180.

I was given a pair of the Road Boots and they are crap but as stated the mx socks are tops.

I've had one of Aldi's full face road helmets for about three years now, Lozza, they are quite good, Australian 1698 standard, fairly quiet to wear, not a lot of wind noise and mine came with a spare visor.

I just bought their 5 inch angle grinder for $29. I burnt out my Milwaukee and was looking for a replacement.  You could buy ten of those for the price of a name brand. And at my age I doubt I could burn ten of them out.
