Nothing happened to Mark.

Unfortunately Marks wife slipped over at home , maybe on some building material and sustained a compound fracture to the wrist, This required immediate surgery , so Mark had to turn around almost immediately on arrival at Canowindra and return home.

Further to Dennis's comment above.

The brakes on the auto are usually really good as we have spent considerable time making sure they are.

About one Km into the loop filmed by Steve the back brake starting working extra well , almost as good as disc, but was dragging badly for few seconds after each application.

Rather than stop and mess around we continued through the loop to the end.

We inspected the auto immediately after we stopped. I was thinking that maybe the actuating rod from the brake pedal or the actuating arm on the brake hub backing plate had been bent by a rock or something . What we found was a small rock had become lodge in the frame loop adjacent to the brake pedal and it was lodged directly behind to adjustment bolt. (First time I have seen this happen and we have had Husky's for as very long time)
This resulted in the brake being almost on and dragging most of the way and this explained why the rear brake was working so well and very sensitive.
When I was showing Dennis how the small rock had become lodged we were checking it out and the rear backing plate and surrounding hub area were so hot that you could not touch them. Later inspection also revealed that rear brake shoe linings had delaminated from being so hot.

So there you go.

Wish I could get the rear brake to be that sensitive all the time.

Oh , and another wish , I wish I could go back to Canowindra this weekend and ride again. The weather forecast is even better this week-end

There's already a good base track set out at the moment.

A relative of mine owns the land and just aquire a couple of pe175 so where off to a good start.
There's a solid 15 min of riding just on car width tracks throughout the property. Similar conditions to canowindra.

And a bobcat has been frequenting there in the last month or so .
Good vtr project ?

 Hey Shoey ,
        Great fun for sure .   Go the Huskys      (Doesn't  need to be  green for the good times to roll  )
   Fantastic loop that was even more fun  as the track cut in a little . 
    Yep,   Dan  really does get along on his IT , very fast young fella .
 
   Great weekend , enjoyed by all   . 
   I did spot a few others  with cameras  on  the weekend .
  Be good to see some more pics /vids of the ride .
