Brake shoes re-lining.
« on: June 30, 2015, 10:33:48 am »
Has anyone had occasion to get brake shoes relined of late ? I remember having it done about a decade ago, but have no idea where I had it done.
I recall there was previously a bit of variety in the kind of material available, but the local car place I spoke to today didn't have any suggestions in that regard. Also the car places don't actually do it themselves, but send it away. I'd like to talk to the people who do it, about the kind of lining to use and etc.
Anyone know of somewhere in Western Sydney that actually does the re-lining ? - maybe Blacktown/Penrith area ?
