Hello KDX200 experts,

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help me with some info?

I'm currently working on a KDX200 1988 C3. The rose joint bearings at each end of the dogbone rear suspension link are "Donald ducked", as indeed is the rose joint at the top of the rear shock.

I can get replacement rose joint bearings from Kawasaki. But the price they want for them is properly mad. So I've been looking for an aftermarket kit of rose joints such as those from "All Balls". But all the aftermarket rose bearing kits seem to be for 1989 and newer KDX200's.

So my question to you is:
Would a rose bearing kit from "All Balls" for a 1989 KDX200 still fit a 1988 KDX200?
If the answer is "no", does anybody know a dealer of rose joint bearing that would be worth trying? The bearing dealers I have tried locally (Adelaide) have drawn a blank for me.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Nathan (HBS).

89 models have the linkage at the bottom, not the dogbone & rocker type.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
